ABG Chlor-Alkali Business (India) is headed by SBU Head. The seven units put together are one of the largest manufacturers of Caustic Soda in India with an installed capacity of about 2450 TPD Caustic Soda and 2100 TPD Chlorine/Hydrochloric Acid. The Grasim Chemical Division, Ganjam (Odisha) is manufacturing unit of Caustic Soda which has recently been acquired by the Chemical Business of the Aditya Birla Group and formally known as Jayshree Chemicals Ltd. At Grasim Chemical Division, Ganjam (Orissa), the present capacity of caustic soda is 150 TPD and expansion plan to 250 TPD is under process. Chemicals Business is largest producer of Chlor Alkali in India with a market share of approx. 23%. It is currently the dominant player in the Industry and the challenge is to maintain its dominance and increase market share to 30%. To attain market share of 30%, business is formulating aggressive growth plans which includes brown field expansions at existing unit locations, Green field projects and identifying the opportunities for merger and acquisition The vacancy is for Finance & Accounts department at Grasim Industries Limited, Chemical Division, Ganjam (Odisha)

  • Ensure implementation of accounting finance & MIS management policies, practices and procedures and compliances of all taxation matters and availment of all benefits available under the various laws.
  • Driving the overall P & B process while ensuring process robustness, timeliness and accuracy in line with group processes and best practices so as to support in management decision making
  • To plan, organize & strengthen Internal control systems & Compliance of Corporate Governance requirements. Ensure effective implementation of Risk Management Framework for the unit.
  • Ensure implementation of defined processes and review mechanism to monitor and control working capital, ensuring that norms are followed and corrective actions are taken in timely manner
  • Ensure implement SAP (ERP) system in the Department.
  • Monitor major resources and cost drivers and overheads.
  • Ensure effective utilization of human resources of finance and Accounts team by continuously upgrading their knowledge and skills.

  • Qualifications
    Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience of 14 to 16 years (post qualification) in Finance & Accounts department of medium or large manufacturing Industry.

    Experience Level 13 - 15 Years Reports to : Functional Head (F&C) Facilities, Amenities or Infrastructure_1 Unit is having well established residential colony for all its employees and English medium School up to 10th class affiliated with ICSE board.
