MAIN PURPOSE OF
To work with the Business Head in giving strategic direction
to company’s countrywide activities and implement policies in all areas of
Marketing, Finance etc. to attain organizational goals.
Execute the Medico marketing initiatives in the
organization like product launch, campaign management, technical training of
KOLs and employees.
Main Job duties
Develop effective marketing strategies, and guide
new product launches and maintain market share and significantly increase
Develop & execute Strategic and tactical
campaigns for achieving share & financial objectives,
Develop & execute market development plans
& Develop a strategic plan for the Brand.
Monitor sales and marketing activities, controlling
related activities like sales analysis, sales monitoring and marketing/product
Monitor and appropriately counter competition
activities to protect and expand the company’s market share and long term
Sustain the highest levels of customer service in
terms of product quality, pricing, and value
Partner with Compliance, Legal, Regulatory bodies
to get various programmes approved.
Complying with all regulations and laws in Quality,
and Commerce etc.
Act as key lynchpin between India Medtronic and
regional & global headquarters.
Participate in international meeting and training
programs and share ideas and information with colleagues and peers worldwide
Draft quarterly Communication Plan, discuss marketing initiatives with team, organize
new product launches, conduct and supervise training programs
Liaise with Media to create awareness about Pump
Therapy in Diabetes Care Management to enhance revenue generation and enhance
company's image as a preferred healthcare destination in the region
Review monthly competitor reports, compare internal
benchmarks, analyze information effectively to target competitor's customers to
gain competitive advantage in the market
Would be responsible for KOL Management, meet and
have discussions with KOL to maintain productive working relationships with
them so as to leverage KOL contacts to advocate the therapies to HCP’s.
Provide monthly inputs on current trends in
Diabetes Management to customers, provide feedback, review monthly product
report, resolve all complaints to retain and satisfy customers for overall
business results and growth of the company
Liaise with Regulatory Head to evaluate product
quality standards, ensure documentation of registration certificates and
renewal of contracts, facilitate annual audits, and recommend corrective action
to close non-compliance to ensure full compliance to quality systems in the
