The AE 3007 Field Service Representative is the on-site point of contact with CABS for all AE 3007 engine maintenance and logistics matters. Attend all EMB-135 mission debriefs (as required) with CABS Maintenance Group for coordination of all follow-on AE 3007 maintenance/troubleshooting. Provide primary on-site engine work scope coordination to CABS lead mechanic to include scheduling, assignment tasking, follow-up and quality control.
Primary conduit for all AE 3007 logistics and maintenance communications with Rolls-Royce Corporation personnel (Event Reports, engine status, issues, concerns, etc). Provides reports as necessary, conducts on-site training, provide practical guidance and advice in the evaluation of technical issues.

The AE 3007 Field Support Representative will be embedded within the CABS Squadron physically located at Bangalore, India.
Liaison with, report to, and maintain a close professional relationship with the R-R India Manager, AE 3007 Fleet Manager and Deployed Services Operations Manager.
Ensure the appropriate CABS teams are fully briefed on all operational, maintenance, logistics and service issues.
Prepares, reviews, and evaluates interface documentation, specifications, test plans, procedures.
Report to the R-R India Manager, AE 3007 Fleet Manager and Deployed Services Operations Manager on any potential AE 3007 contract breaches.
Provide product status to CABS Maintenance and Operations management as required in the form of written reports and other media, as required.
Champion ongoing training programs for line maintenance personnel. Conduct training to maintenance personnel through on-the-job and stand-up training as appropriate.
Work in harmony with the Embraer Representatives, to include coordination of shared facilities, maintenance, troubleshooting, administration, etc.
Report performance of maintenance processes and adherence to maintenance quality procedures to the R-R India Manager, AE 3007 Fleet Manager and Deployed Services Operations Manager.
Liaise with Embraer Advisor on airframe matters to develop and impose engine support policies across the support chain to ensure R-R company interests are maintained.
Provides technical assistance in the form of written, phone calls, electronically relating to aircraft engine operations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, logistics support and configuration management.
Tracks and trends engine degraders and provide reports to the R-R India Manager, AE 3007 Fleet Manager and Deployed Services Operations Manager.
Travel to deployed sites, in India, to support AE 3007 maintenance activities as directed.
Travel to support AE 3007/Embraer requirements such as maintenance safety briefs, incident investigations, on-site reviews, flight test evaluations and direct requests on short notice, as required.
When requested, review and interpret Embraer, Flight Test Support Letters, etc.
Provide weekly status reports and a monthly operations report to R-R India Manager, AE 3007 Fleet Manager and Deployed Services Operations Manager.
Qualifications and experience
The AE 3007 Field Service Representative, to effectively execute the above responsibilities, will have extensive experience in supporting Rolls-Royce customer’s requirements such as engine operation, maintenance safety briefs, field training, on-site reviews, meetings, in-flight test evaluations and direct requests on short notice.
Possesses high knowledge level of industry practices, standards and technology areas
BS degree or equivalent experience (or combination of education/experience) in an aviation/aerospace discipline.
10 plus years practical hands-on experience in aviation jet engine maintenance.
Strong technical and theoretical knowledge and aptitude of jet engine design, construction, and systems operation.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting jet engines and related aircraft systems.
Ability to travel away from Bangalore, India on short notice and for extended periods of one month or more in support of the MRMS contract and provided the travel is coordinated with R-R India Manager, AE 3007 Fleet Manager and Deployed Services Operations Manager.
High level of interpersonal skills with a professional attitude, bearing and focus on customer service.
Proven ability to communicate at all managerial levels, with international customers/partners.
Computer competency using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, high-end networks, database management and customized software.
Proven ability to work with all levels of maintenance, engineering, management and partners.

Provide weekly reports that include (but not limited to):
Parts and or logistics problems
News and Events of interest
Provide monthly hour and cycle accrual reports
Coordinate with Fleet Manager and Deployed Services before offering commitments to Indian AF
Ensure EHM Data is downloaded and forwarded in a timely manner
Help to ensure 100% availability of the CABS Embraer AEWC fleet.
Construct a Service Bulletin Database. This should consist of:
A list of all Service Bulletins
All CABS Engine Serial Numbers
SB applicability by Engine Number
Whether or not each engine is compliant
Provide on-site guidance to the CABS mechanics to ensure maintenance tasks are being carried out per the applicable Rolls-Royce publication
Keep a daily-diary with entries regarding issues, happenings, problems, concerns, successes, spares, usage, business opportunities, etc.
Ensure the EMP on-wing tasks are being carried out. The daily diary would be an appropriate place to record these items.
Maintain data of Zero Value Purchase Orders raised.
Report arrival of shipments to customer from R-R in timely fashion to Fleet Manager and R-R India Office.
Maintain data on LRU turn around times and provide updates where TRT is beyond MRMS Agreement.
Report change of technical officers (STO and Embraer), Flight Commander (Embraer), Commanding Officer of Comm Sqdn, C Eng Officer, and Air Officer Commanding AFS Palam.
Attend an AE 3007A Line Maintenance and Borescope class in Indianapolis while acting as a liaison with Indian AF delegation that is also traveling to Indianapolis, subject to funding review.
Create an awareness of the following R-R initiatives: Project Zero, Yellow Belt, and contract Key Process Indicators.
