Key Responsibilities Job Purpose/ Summary:
As a member of the Application Support team, the Analyst will provide customer service, technical troubleshooting and resolution to internal and external parties. This position will collaborate with various IT teams and suppliers to address complex data, logical, system and process incidents and requests. The analyst is further expected to perform incident management, problem management and participate in change management and release management related activities across multiple technologies relevant for managing support & availability for applications in scope.
Monitor, analyse, communicate, collaborate and escalate to resolve incidents and requests for issues submitted via email, phone, ticket queues and in person Identify, propose and execute continuous improvement opportunities Secure use of uniform procedures and establishment of operational procedures Maintain and analyse various statistics Carrying out business process mapping Performing structured analysis Identifying performance efficiency barriers and proposing fixes Performing other tasks defined by manager (typically within Technical and Business Analysis) After-hours, on-call support, travel when required, performs other related duties, as assigned Who we are looking for Required Experience:
Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in IT At least 1 to 3 years of Maersk Line or related experience
Hands on SAP ECC 6,0 knowledge on core modules – ATR / P2P / OTC and familiarity with reporting tools like SAP BW 7,X. Knowledge of Shipping & Transportation domain & Finance process Working knowledge on MS-Office tools Experience working with Service Management tools like Service Now, Focal point, Quality Centre ITIL Foundation or understanding ITSM concepts is desirable Software Testing Experience working in a busy support team, preferably across multiple locations, on and off-shore. Security Mind set with relevant experience
